Alison holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Science (Health Sciences, Health & Safety), and a Graduate Certificate (Theology). She is an ordained pastor with the Australian Christian Churches (AoG in Australia), and serves alongside her husband Brad as Senior Pastor of Horizon Church.

After navigating her own journey through burnout, she sought to equip herself with the tools to support other pastors and leaders. Since completing her studies in positive psychology, Alison has continued in her role at church, whilst supporting churches and not-for-profits through The Flourishing Workplace.

The Well offers an expression for her to support individuals and leaders to foster resilience through the latest evidence-based findings of wellbeing science presented through a Christian lens. You will find Ali's approach to be warm, pastoral, informative and encouraging.
